Casey Swensen knows the value of hard work, integrity, and service because he’s done it. Growing up in his family’s grocery business—a business that’s supported Idaho families for nearly a century—he saw firsthand how small businesses are the backbone of strong communities.
A graduate of Twin Falls High School as Valedictorian, Casey then went on to earn a degree in Philosophy from Brigham Young University and graduated Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He returned to Idaho to serve as a Public Defender in Canyon and Gem Counties, and later as Chief Deputy Criminal Prosecutor in Gem County. There, he worked to keep families safe while ensuring justice was applied fairly.
Casey then transitioned to private business, helping grow a pest control company from a single shop to a multi-million-dollar enterprise with branches across the country. By working with employees, state agencies, and business partners, he developed the skills to expand economic opportunity while navigating tough challenges—experience he’s ready to put to work for Idaho.
In 2022, Casey and his wife, Kacey, came home to Idaho to raise their three children. Together, they are committed to the same values that unite communities across our state: safe neighborhoods, affordable living, and responsible government.
Now, Casey is running for Idaho State Senate to ensure families—not special interests—come first. Casey will fight for an Idaho where hard work is rewarded, communities are safe, and future generations can thrive.
